Celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary with an evening of family-friendly fun and live entertainment on Wednesday, July 1, at Veterans Park!🗣🇺🇸

👥Bring the whole family dressed in red, white, and blue as the community comes together to commemorate this historic milestone in the nation’s history with live music, special America250-themed giveaways, and much more!

🚫 Please note that fireworks of any kind are illegal in the City of Chino Hills and this patriotic celebration does not include a fireworks display.

UPDATE (10:24am) - Carbon Canyon Road is now OPEN.✅

Expect delays on Carbon Canyon Road (SR-142) due to a traffic collision and a damaged utility pole that occurred overnight.🚨

🚗Eastbound traffic is being diverted through Azurite Drive. Westbound traffic is being diverted through Old Carbon Canyon Road.

🛠️Southern California Edison (SCE) is on scene and managing traffic. There is no estimated time for reopening but plan for longer delays as SCE repairs the pole.

🔔Please slow down, drive carefully, and use alternate routes if possible. Updates will be provided as info is received.

Our 1,2,3-Trichloropropane (TCP) water treatment facility is now fully operational!🆕
 
💦This treatment facility, located near the intersection of Eucalyptus Avenue and Pipeline Avenue, has the capacity to treat approximately 2,000 gallons of water per minute and produce nearly three million gallons of clean water per day for Chino Hills residents.

The City of Chino Hills’ government access television channels (Spectrum Channel 3 and Frontier Channel 41) are temporarily unavailable while the City completes a comprehensive upgrade to its audio-visual and broadcasting equipment. The upgrade is expected to be completed and the channels restored to service in mid-July.📺

🆕 The project will enhance access to City Council meetings through high-definition video, livestreamed meetings, multilingual closed captioning, and new opportunities for remote participation, providing the community with more ways to stay informed and engage with their local government from home.

💲This project is funded entirely through Public, Educational, and Government (PEG) access funds. No General Fund dollars are being used for this project.
