Project School Tools of Ross County

Project School Tools of Ross County Project School Tools is dedicated to empowering every child in Ross County, PK through 12th grade, with the essential tools for a successful school year.

Our mission is to ensure every student begins the school year with confidence, dignity, and a smile. Tabitha Muse, President
Traci Click, Vice President
Morgan Adkins, Treasurer
Paige Baxter, Secretary

Project School Tools of Ross County is guided by a dedicated committee made up of representatives from various sectors of our community. This includes local agency staff, school district personnel

, and business partners who all share a commitment to the well-being and academic success of our students. Our local agency partners contribute valuable insight into the needs of families and help connect resources to those who need them most. School staff members ensure that we align our efforts with what students and teachers require in the classroom. Local businesses lend their support through sponsorship, in-kind donations, and volunteer engagement. Together, this committee collaborates year-round to organize, plan, and execute the annual school supply event—ensuring that students in Ross County return to school prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

We are so proud to be a United Way Partner! 💙
Partnering with United Way means standing alongside organizations that are committed to strengthening our community. Together, we are making an impact that truly matters.

🌟 Celebrating Our 2026 Community Impact Partnerships 🌟

United Way of Ross County is proud to announce our 2026 Community Impact Partners — a group of incredible organizations working every day to strengthen families, support children, and uplift neighbors across Ross County. Our partner kick-off event was a time where each organization had the opportunity to network and share the programs they are providing in our community. This kick-off event is in its 2nd year and provides an opportunity for further collaboration, discussion on partnerships, and assessments of the ongoing needs of our community.
✨ Our 2026 Community Impact Partners:
• Assistance House
• Big Brothers Big Sisters
• Carver Community Center: Daily Meal Program
• Carver Community Center: Pre‑K Program
• Carver Community Center: Youth Development
• EasterSeals
• First Capital Pride
• Frankfort Senior Center
• Good Samaritan Food Network
• Harrison Township Fire & Rescue
• Hope Clinic
• Paper City Mentoring
• Project School Tools
• RCCAC: Domestic Violence Shelter
• RCCAC: Resource Center
• Ross County Reentry
• Sojourners
• The Garden Family Advocacy Center
• YMCA Early Learning Center
These organizations are meeting real needs, filling critical gaps, and creating opportunities for individuals and families throughout our community.
To our community impact council volunteers, thank you for giving your time, insight, and heart to the grant's application process. Your thoughtful evaluation and thorough reviews are important work for the community.
To our partners, thank you for the life‑changing work you do every day.
Together, we are building a stronger, more connected Ross County — one partnership at a time. 💛

⚠️Attention⚠️ Friends, it is that time of year again! It's hard to believe! Please be guided by the information below.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

Last year, we tested out a new sign-up system and it worked beautifully. This year, we will be using the same system. A problem we had was that a few people came in, scanned the QR code, and left and filled out the form online at home.

We encourage you to fill out the form online on your phone or mobile device, but we need you to do that here in the building so that we can verify your information and get you your time slot. If you come in and scan the QR code, PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE. ALSO, DO NOT SEND QR CODE OR PICTURES OF THE CODE TO OTHERS. ANYONE MUST BE PRESENT IN THE BUILDING.

Once you fill out the form on your phone, you will need to wait for your name to be called so that your sign-up can be completed. IF YOU LEAVE, YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE PROGRAM. We will not chase you down. We are trying to serve as many families as possible, and our time will be devoted to those who have completed the process. (We will make exceptions for emergencies. Please make us aware.)

When you come to sign up, if you choose to meet with one of us in person and sign up that way, that is also perfectly fine. There will be staff and volunteers available to help with any questions you might have. We want this process to be as easy as possible.

Please know the sizes for your children, and please also know their 3 wish list items.
(This information is not optional; this information is needed to complete the form.)

We unfortunately don’t have the time needed to wait while you make phone calls to other guardians. We want to get you signed up so you can go about your day, and we can tend to another family. It is not fair for those who came prepared to wait on you. PLEASE BE CURTEOUS AND CONSIDERATE & COME PREPARED

We understand times are hard right now, but please do not attempt to sign up with more than one agency. We aim to serve as many families as possible, and when someone signs up through multiple agencies, it takes away from another family in need.

If you are caught signing up with another agency for toys, you will be taken off the list and will be ineligible for toys this year.
If you are caught after receiving the toys, then you will be unable to sign up with us next year. We hope you can understand.

Blessings to all!! 😊
