Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

As we gather to celebrate this holiday, it's imperative to remember that Thanksgiving encompasses much more than just the food, drinks, and football. It is a time for reflection, a moment to pause and acknowledge the countless blessings in our lives.

Every Holiday Season reminds us to slow down and appreciate the invaluable gifts we often take for granted-our families, our friends, and the simple joy each day can bring.

As John F. Kennedy wisely noted, "As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them."

On a personal note, I want to thank everyone who has contributed to my professional and personal growth this past year. Through all of the conversations, shared experiences, and guidance, your continued support has meant the world to me.

As you celebrate today, I hope it is filled with warmth, laughter, and a profound sense of gratitude. Let us remember that "Gratitude turns what we have into enough" and take the time to cherish what truly matters in our lives.

I wish you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful Thanksgiving, surrounded by love and happiness!

On November 11th each year, we celebrate Veterans Day to honor and express our gratitude to the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Veterans Day is more than a day off. It is a day to recognize their selfless dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting our nation and preserving our freedom.

Let us all remember and appreciate the tremendous contributions of veterans and their families, who have sacrificed to safeguard our liberties. While Veterans Day happens once a year, we must pay tribute to their bravery, resilience, and unwavering patriotism every day. This is the land of the free because of the brave. 🇺🇸

Thank you!

To each constituent who came and raised their voice, who showed that voting was important, who placed their support in me by re-electing me to another term as your Ward 6 city councilor.

Together, we will make meaningful progress.

Together, we will continue the work.

I commit to continuing the work, to listening, leading, and fighting for the future Chicopee deserves.

I am grateful for the opportunity to keep your voice heard!

Good evening, everyone,

Tomorrow is Election Day, and I humbly ask for your support. Your vote matters, and I encourage you to visit the polls between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. to make your voice heard.

Over the past two years on the City Council, we’ve accomplished meaningful progress together, from installing new crosswalk safety improvements on Burnett Road to modernizing outdated ordinances, passing a plastic bag ban to keep our city clean, supporting neighborhood policing efforts, and advocating for long-overdue infrastructure investments, such as Williams Park. These weren’t just ideas; they are real changes improving the quality of life here in Ward 6 and the City of Chicopee.

It would be an honor to continue serving as your representative and to keep pushing for safer roads, responsible spending, cleaner neighborhoods, and a government that listens.

Your participation shapes the future of our city. Please join me in exercising our fundamental right to vote and let our voices be heard.

Thank you for your continued support, trust, and engagement in our democratic process. Together, we can continue to build a better tomorrow.

This tragic act of political violence is devastating, and it must be said clearly: political violence has no place in our country.

A husband and father has been taken from his family. Two children will now grow up without their dad — missing his guidance, his love, and his presence at every milestone. No child should ever have to bear that pain.

In moments like this, we must come together as Americans — not as partisans, but as people who believe in the value of life, the strength of family, and the promise of our democracy. Let this be a reminder that we can disagree without dehumanizing, and debate without violence.

May God bless Charlie’s family in this time of unimaginable loss, and may God bless America with the courage to heal and move forward together.

As the new school year begins this week, I extend my best wishes to all our students, educators, and staff in the City of Chicopee.

To our students, embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Your hard work and dedication will pave the way for a successful year. Remember, every day is a chance to learn and grow.

To our dedicated educators, thank you for your unwavering commitment and passion. We truly appreciate your efforts in nurturing and inspiring our students. You are the backbone of our educational community.

To our invaluable staff, your behind-the-scenes work ensures that our schools run smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, and we are grateful for all you do.

Safety Reminder: As we return to our routines, please remember to stop for school buses and slow down in school zones and neighborhoods. The safety of our children is paramount, and your vigilance can make a significant difference.

Chicopee families deserve a councilor who works as hard as they do. Brian Mendes has earned my trust-and my endorsement.

We won’t move Chicopee forward by accepting limits. We’ll move it forward by pushing boundaries and by finishing what was started.

For as long as I can remember, Memorial Drive has been one of Chicopee’s busiest roads, along with being Chicopee's most rurally recognizable road. It connects our neighborhoods to nearby cities and helps define our city’s identity. But lately, driving through it feels outdated and is just sitti...
