Welcome to one of the smallest Police Agency's in Texas.

The City Of Chico employees (4) Wise County Contract Deputies and (1) part-time Police Officer. It simply means that Chico pays each officer to patrol one shift a week for the City Limits of Chico. Always contact the Wise County Sheriffs Dept. 911 for emergencies and 940-627-5971 for non-emergencies, (THAT IS ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW) If Chico does not have an Officer on Duty, they will send the clos

est available Wise County Deputy. The City Of Chico works closely with the Wise County Sheriffs Dept. to provide this cost effective arrangement for Law Enforcement.
