Who They Are:
Friends of the Arts is a State/Local Partner to the California Arts Council and promotes communication, education, economic development, art appreciation, advocacy and collaboration in Butte County and surrounding region. Large community events include Artoberfest, Sacred Movement Music Festival, Chico Palio, the Oroville Salmon Festival, Nor-Cal Jazz Festival, Feather Fiesta Days, Lake Oroville Fireworks, Poetry Out Loud, Oroville Parade of Lights, True North Arts, Culture & Media Alliance, Chico Silent Film Festival and BCAC-TV - Channel 11 (public access television). Your Donation:
Arts and culture create community. We also accept donations and/or sponsorships. Please call (530) 228-2860 for more information or stop in at 500 Main St., Suite. 150 in Chico Tuesday - Friday noon-5pm beginning Aug 1.

Evidently, because of the snow and weather conditions, Big Boy 4014 will leave Roseville tomorrow morning at 8:00am and retrace its route through Lincoln, Marysville, and through the Feather River Canyon. It won’t stop, but coming through!!
