📣 We would like to send a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS out to our Herdsman, JT Albin on obtaining his degree at the beginning of this month. 🎓

JT was a transfer student from College of Southern Idaho. He was hired onto the Dairy his first semester here at Chico State and has never looked back. Since stepping into the Herdsman role this past January, JT has done a phenomenal job. He has collaborated seamlessly with his peers and spearheaded updates across numerous areas of our dairy facilities all while excelling in the classroom. It is safe to say that the entire operation looks and runs better thanks to JT’s hard work and dedication (oh and ability to weld😉)!
JT is planning to join his family’s organic dairy operation in Ferndale, California after graduation.

Congratulations JT! We are going to miss you BIG time but are super excited to see what you will accomplish! We will be over soon to check in on ya and learn about those beautiful blue things..

Megan is a veteran of the dairy team, working nearly every semester of her impressive college career. Whether she’s pulling shifts, excelling in the classroom, stepping up to give dairy tours or serving as President of the DSIC, her dedication is unmatched.

All this, while maintaining a flawless academic record to graduate Summa Cum Laude!

We are so excited for you to get out into the industry! You will be an incredible asset wherever you go!

Please help us send a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to one of our graduates Aiven Shields!

Aiven has worked at the dairy for very close to her entire college career, bringing 100% to every single shift.

She became very involved within the Dairy Science and Industry Club early on and has worked tirelessly to help grow the club into what it has become today. She also helped increase attendance when she would cook her famous grilled cheese sandwiches! 😉

Aiven plans to continue her education by joining the credential program in the Fall.

We will miss you so so much! 😭

We walked away incredibly impressed by your phenomenal operations and your dedication to continuous improvement.

One of many highlights, a cow milking competition!! 😂Congratulations to Alyssa!!🏆 Truly an educational and memorable day.
