Peg Taylor Center

Peg Taylor Center The Peg Taylor Center was established in 1986, and is the only program of its kind serving Butte, Glenn and Tehama Counties through our site in Chico.

The clients who attend the Peg Taylor Center have a wide range of health needs and diagnoses, including stroke, diabetes, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease. Each client has a personalized treatment plan, which can include nursing care, physical, occupational and speech therapies, social services, dietary counseling and specialized activities. Additionally, recreational activities designed for a

wide range of interests and abilities take place throughout the day. By offering this kind of support, we help our clients to improve and maintain their quality of life despite their serious health problems.

When we arrived at the Peg Taylor Center, seniors and adults were waving their arms in the air, doing delightful seated aerobics to an upbeat song. Our team went on a tour with Kelly and Tricia, and it was wonderful to learn about the amazing work they're doing for adults and seniors with health challenges, supporting their health, independence, dignity and quality of life. That's a mission we deeply relate to in our programs! It was wonderful to connect and brainstorm about how we can partner to help people. 🩵🏡👩‍🦼
