2023 SPECIAL PROJECT
OKLAHOMA ORPHAN CARE – A Solvable Problem

There are currently about 6,700 kids in care across Oklahoma. Approximately 445 of those kids need adoption.
The Oklahoma Assemblies of God currently have 465 churches.
Oklahoma Families First says we need 805 families to foster or adopt.
In 2022, a DHS permanency worker stated there’s an average of 90 kids EVERY NIGHT WITH NO PLACE TO GO.

Studies show that children need at least one healthy adult relationship to flourish. Who will take a stand to fill this role for foster children?

We have 465 OKAG churches; the problem is solvable,
and the CHURCH is the Solution
