Chickasha Junior Council Class II started today! Junior Council Members heard from several City leaders, including Mayor Grayson, and held a mock council meeting. We are excited to see all they will learn, experience and accomplish through the next year.

The Chickasha Public Library will be hosting the pop up park today and Thursday (September 8 and 10) from 10 a.m. to noon. Stop by for a fun place to play with your little ones!

Labor Day Weekend = Splash Pad Season Finale! This weekend is your last chance to cool off at the Shannon Springs and Wash*ta Valley Park Splash Pads.

The Splash Pads will be open every day this weekend from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting tomorrow (Friday, September 4). We will keep the Splash Pads open on Monday, September 7 for Labor Day, but will close for the season that day at 8 p.m.

Today from 10 a.m. to noon, the Chickasha Public Library will be hosting an indoor pop-up park! As a way to help children and their caregivers have fun and beat the heat, the Library will set up games and a space to play for this two-hour window.

Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times; no staff supervision is provided.

Congratulations to Josh Gregston, Tyler Tompkins and Brad Rivera of the Chickasha Fire Department & Emergency Management for placing third at the Swift Water Rescue Conference! This event was held at the Riversport Rapids in Oklahoma City and had teams from across the world participating. Chickasha is proud of you, Josh, Tyler and Brad!
