We are excited to celebrate one of our elementary classrooms for receiving the Pets in the Classroom Grant!
Ms. Erika Owen’s class now has two bearded dragons in a nice habitat added to the classroom family. These new little friends will provide students with hands-on opportunities to learn about responsibility, animal care, science, and so much more!
We are so proud to see our teachers creating engaging, meaningful learning experiences for our students. What a fun addition to the classroom! 🦎

What a turn out to our Chieftain Family Engagement night! Our internationally known speaker, Principal Kafele, really brought home the importance of parents being a child’s “First Teacher” and that their teaching is never done💯 Believe in your children….motivate them to dream big…advocate for them…hold them accountable…stress hard work and perseverance …ensure reading daily…teach them the importance of current events…love them…We were truly blessed last night!!❤️ Also, special thanks to Ms. West’s theatre class for presenting a skit on the importance of attendance!! It was a great introduction to a great workshop👏 AP & New Principals Academy with Principal Kafele

Today was amazing at the Middle/High School! 🍕 The Child Nutrition Team has been training on the new pizza oven as well as being mentored by our friends at SmartMouth Pizza. We served every student a fresh, hot pan pizza today and it was a raving success! The pizza will become one of our weekly offerings at lunch. We can't wait to try new pizza recipes! We are excited to share that Chickasaw Intermediate School received a grant to provide additional equipment for their playground. This will provide even more opportunities for our Chieftains to stay active!! Thank you The Caring Foundation💯

Our fleet just received a major upgrade. We are thrilled to welcome a new bus to our school system. Student safety and reliable transportation are our top priorities. Keep an eye out for this fresh set of wheels on the road soon! 🚌❤️💙

Today, our faculty and staff had the opportunity to listen and learn from guest speaker Jonathan Alshiemer as he challenged us to be the very best educators, mentors, and supporters we can be for our students.
His message was a great reminder that meaningful student engagement starts with us — being present, building relationships, creating connections, and finding ways to inspire every student to reach their full potential.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to reflect, grow, and continue working together to make a positive difference in the lives of our students. When we strive to be our best, we create an environment where our students can be their best, too. We are ready for a great year with our Chieftains! ❤️💙📚✨
