Last week, in the courtroom of Judge Daniel Maloney, the Circuit Court of Cook County celebrated the graduates of the Markham Drug Treatment Court and Veterans Treatment Court programs.

This commencement ceremony recognized four individuals who have demonstrated perseverance, accountability, and a commitment to rebuilding their lives, including an Army veteran and a decorated Marine. These proud graduates completed rigorous treatment, therapy, counseling, and community service over a two-year period in order to satisfy the requirements of the programs. Their achievements serve as a powerful reminder that recovery, support, and determination can create meaningful opportunities for a brighter future.

Congratulations to all of the graduates on this significant milestone. We wish you continued success in the journey ahead.
