JEF Center’s Programs and Services


  • Roseland/Altgeld/Riverdale Adolescent Parenting Program (RAPP/ARAPP)- Provides home visiting services to pregnant and teen moms which include (but not limited to) evidence based parent coaching/curriculum, child development and milestones education, group services and more! Our pregnant teens are also offered Doula services to support them during pregnancy, delivery, and post-natal support. This program is also designed to help teen parents create safe home environments, model positive and language enriched relationships and ensure families are connected to community resources that can assist them in obtaining their ultimate goals.

  • Family Case Management (FCM)- Case management of medical services to pregnant women, infants and children up to one year of age.

  • Better Birth Outcomes (BBO)- Provides case management services and home visits to pregnant and parenting women deemed “high risk” in order to ensure a healthy pregnancy and delivery.

  • Independent Living for Youth in Care (ILO)- Services youth ages 19 to 20 in the care of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Youth are placed in their own apartment and receive intensive case management that assists in their development of life shills as they prepare to transition to independence.
