Thanks to everyone who came out today! We had a great discussion with folks in our community about how a progressive income tax would impact community services and resources. Mental health services, middle schools, after school programs, and community organizing were some of the salient examples people expressed as things they’d want to see funded.
Thank you to Kylah, Morgan, Jose, Ben, Stephanie, Alyssa, Ryan, and Ruben for organizing a terrific meeting! And thank you State Representative Will Guzzardi for explaining how the Illinois Fair Tax referendum and amendment would work! Stay tuned for more actions coming up related to this and other progressive causes!

Fully funded schools
Safe streets
Affordable housing
Ending unchecked corporate greed
Ending political corruption and nepotism
