Held my second Walk-Up Ward Night at Avondale Bowl last night. Thank you to all the residents who stopped by and to Avondale Bowl for graciously hosting us. If you haven’t had a chance to visit this historic bowling alley, be sure to check it out. Established in 1928, it is one of the few remaining second-floor bowling alleys in Chicago and the only one in the city that still features open ball returns. I’m proud to have such a unique and longstanding neighborhood gem in my ward.

We know many residents are still dealing with fallen branches and tree debris from last week's severe weather. Thank you for your patience as Forestry crews prioritized emergency situations first and continue working through cleanup requests across the ward.
Our Ward Superintendent is also working closely with City crews to help move the cleanup process along as quickly as possible. If you see our crews out and about, please say hello and thank them for their hard work serving our community!

Sabemos que muchos residentes aún están lidiando con ramas caídas y escombros de árboles debido al mal tiempo de la semana pasada. Gracias por su paciencia mientras las cuadrillas de Silvicultura atendían primero las emergencias y continúan trabajando en las solicitudes de limpieza en todo el distrito.
Nuestro Superintendente del Distrito también está trabajando de cerca con las cuadrillas de la Ciudad para ayudar a agilizar el proceso de limpieza lo más rápido posible.
