We celebrated an incredible milestone as we honored the CICS Irving Park Class of 2026! 🎓💙
Our graduates have grown, persevered, learned, and led throughout their years with us. From their first days in our hallways to crossing the stage today, they have left a lasting mark on our school community.
Graduation was filled with proud families, joyful tears, laughter, memories, and hope for the future. We could not be more proud of the young people they have become and the bright futures that lie ahead.

💚💙❤️💛💜 PUMA PROWL 2026! 💜💛❤️💙💚

What a day to be a Puma!

Today, our students filled the streets of Irving Park with energy, laughter, music, and an incredible amount of Puma PRIDE during our annual Walk-A-Thon. From our youngest Pumas to our graduating 8th graders, students walked, sang, danced, and celebrated together as one community.

Along the route, neighbors, families, local business employees, and community members lined the sidewalks to cheer us on, wave, and encourage our students every step of the way. Your support reminded us just how special this community truly is.

Because of the generosity of our families, friends, and supporters, we are thrilled to share that we raised over $13,000 to support enrichment opportunities, student experiences, and continued improvements for our school community. Every dollar will help make CICS Irving Park an even better place for our students to learn and grow.

And this photo says it all. Looking out at hundreds of students and staff gathered together in a rainbow of grade-level colors, smiling and celebrating side by side, is a powerful reminder of who we are: one school, one community, one Puma family.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, cheered us on, and helped make this tradition so memorable.

Field Day = Best Day! ☀️🎉

From obstacle courses, chalk art, face painting, and nonstop games to the crowd favorite 20-foot inflatable slide, our students spent the day laughing, cheering, and making memories together. Even Mr. Kuebler and Mrs. Dillon took their turn under the dunk bucket! 💦😄

We wrapped up an incredible day of joy, teamwork, and celebration with popsicles and ice cream — the perfect ending to a perfect day. Thank you to our staff, families, and students for making Field Day so special. What an amazing way to celebrate our Puma community! 🐾

PTO - Puma Prowl
Hello Parents! The CICS Irving Park annual spring fundraiser, the Puma Prowl Walk-A-Thon is Friday, May 29th! This event is a fun tradition in which students will participate in a walk around the school’s neighborhood. Information packets will be sent home with students this week.
You will receive the permission slip to sign and circle your child's shirt size. Please return that to your child's teacher.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 and money raised will directly support our school and its educational programming, especially our enrichment programs, as well as updates to the recess area. As in years past, it is very easy for students and families to ask friends and family to sponsor them using MyBooster.com. It takes less than one minute to register and then start collecting, every single dollar helps! Please also consider asking your employers and/or local businesses to sponsor the event. Students need to return the permission slip in order to participate in the event. Review the attachments to learn how to register on MyBooster.com. We will have additional permission forms available in the front office and at Extended Day pick-up. Any questions, please let us know!!! GOOOOOO Pumas!!!

¡Hola padres de familia! ¡La caminata anual de primavera de CICS Irving Park, el Puma Prowl Walk-A-Thon, será el viernes 29 de mayo! Este evento es una tradición divertida en la que los estudiantes participarán en una caminata por el vecindario de la escuela. Esta semana se enviarán paquetes de información a casa con los estudiantes.
Recibirán un permiso que deben firmar y donde deberán marcar la talla de camiseta de su hijo/a. Por favor, devuelvan ese formulario al maestro/a de su hijo/a.
Nuestra meta es recaudar $15,000 y el dinero recaudado apoyará directamente a nuestra escuela y su programación educativa, especialmente nuestros programas de enriquecimiento, así como mejoras en el área de recreo. Como en años anteriores, es muy fácil para los estudiantes y las familias pedir a amigos y familiares que los patrocinen usando MyBooster.com. ¡Registrarse toma menos de un minuto y cada dólar cuenta! Por favor, considere también pedir a sus empleadores y/o negocios locales que patrocinen el evento.

🎉 We’re excited to share that Laila Drury, Bianca Murillo, and Liza Melecio, our School Social Workers and School Psychologist, have been recognized as Care Heroes by Care Solace, our partner in mental health care coordination. The Care Hero Award celebrates school counselors and mental health staff who go above and beyond to connect students to the care they need.
