Present Place Chicago Present Place is Chicago’s favorite indoor play space, designed with pride for children and parents alike. Oh, and the free coffee!

Come for the incredible play set and selection of imaginative toys, stay for the wonderful sense of community. One cold day, Alicia found herself and her kids at the Chicago Public Library seeking a warm and kid-friendly space to spend the day. She looked around and wished they had a place to go that had more space, interesting design elements, and coffee! Right then she made up her mind to combin

e her love of interior design and her background in early childhood education to open her own business. That business is Present Place Chicago, where Alicia's used color, light, space, and texture to create an indoor play space to inspire and nurture children -- no commercial cartoon characters, no battery-powered toys, and nothing artificial. We're a place where kids can learn and grow through play while parents look on with a fresh cup of coffee or tea. We're a place where kids and parents alike can be present.

MUSIC CLASS IS BACK! We are happy to welcome back Ms. Sunshine for Friday Music Classes beginning October 28th! Explore music through instruments, singing, and moving to the beat (or the beat of your own drum 🥁)! Music class will be a 35 minute class with a 10 minute warm up with instrument exploration for a 45 minute total experience! Class will be held for a 7 week session, but will not be held on November 25th. Join us on Fridays at 10am for joy, laughter, and a whole lot of MUSIC!
