The Student Pantry will be open on Tuesday 1:00-4:00pm and Wednesday from 11:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Our Story

Open to all NEIU Students The NEIU Food Pantry assists students experiencing food insecurity. The Student Food Pantry seeks donations of non-perishable items and personal hygiene products. These donations are a collaborative effort among NEIU faculty, staff, and students.

FALL 2018 HOURS OF OPERATION The Fall Hours of operation are Mondays and Thursdays from 1-4 p.m in Room E-050. What can you Donate? High Demand Items (make a big impact with your donation): Peanut butter Granola bars Canned soup Rice Baby food/formula Diapers Toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothpaste) Paper goods (toilet paper, tissue) Reusable grocery bags Food Items: Beans, canned fruit, canned vegetables, cereal, chili, jelly, macaroni and cheese, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, shelf-stable milk, soup, stew, rice, tuna, etc. Non-food Items: Personal hygiene products, diapers, facial tissue, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, etc. We do not accept the following items: Opened of partially used items, including cans, bottles, and dried goods,products not in their original packaging, products with no ingredient information labels, homemade or home-canned products, products that have been contaminated, alcoholic beverages or energy drinks of any kind, expired products, pet food, clothing, cleaning supplies, toys.
