National Women Veterans United, will host Sertoma Su***de Awareness and Prevention Training on Tuesday May 26, 2026, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, location at 8620 S. Pulaski Rd. (lower Level) Chicago. A completion certificate, brunch and lunch will be provided.

Why it matters: This training is designed for everyday veterans and community members — including parents, caregivers, teachers, coworkers, volunteers, faith‑community members, and anyone in a position to notice when someone may be struggling. While it is not therapy or crisis counseling, it equips non‑professionals with practical, potentially life‑saving skills to recognize warning signs, offer support, and connect someone to appropriate help.

Ladies,

(Boot Up for NWVU) Please pass on to your professional Contacts, Organizations, Business Partners & Sororities.

The 2018 Climbing Higher Women's Empowerment Conference is fast approaching. Thank you for helping to promote the conference. I've attached a copy of the flyer for The 2018 Climbing Higher Women's Empowerment Conference and below is the link for registration. I have created a special ticket for guests who want to attend and purchase a ticket for a female veteran. When a guest purchases a regular Early bird ticket, they have the option to also purchase a 1/2 price ticket for a female veteran. They should click on the ticket titled "Early bird + Veteran". Those tickets will be donated to National Women Veterans United so that members can attend at no cost.

The link to register is: www.2018climbinghigher.eventbrite.com
