As a Democrat--my whole goal in life is taking care of the poor and needy, those who have little hope or chance in this world. No, I don't think most of them can pull themselves up without a little help. And with the diminishing of the middle class (because of foreign jobs) there are and there will be more of this hopeless class. I changed to being a Democrat from being a Republican the minute I g

ot my first job. Where did I want my tax dollars to go?--Not primarily to war. I wanted it to take care of the people in our country. Churches and private institutions have never had enough to take care of the poor. They can take care of their own and a few others, but who will take care of the rest? Only the federal government has the resources to do this with the least pain to everyone. And if they are not doing a good job of it, you can vote new people in. You can't do that with corporations and CEOs. If you can truly look into the eyes of starving children and not want to help with your life and with your taxes, I personally think you need to reevaluate your real religious beliefs and your humanity.

It is isn’t just Trump’s tariffs that are destroying the American economy, it’s his foreign policy, immigration policies, domestic agenda, and terrible budget bill. Combined, Donald Trump’s entire political agenda is driving the American economy into the ground. His rash decisions, personal vendettas, incompetent negotiating skills and act first think later style of government are having disastrous impacts across every sector.
