With a 2022 homeownership rate of 45.3% for Black households and 74.6% for White households (a 29 percent gap), the gap in ownership rates between Black and White households is wider today compared to the 1960s (a 27 point gap).
Barriers to housing, especially for Black residents, are many, and we are here to help.
