Hi all - We have stopped active PR posting on this page, effective retro to December 4, 2025.

Thank you so much for all your support over the past many years! ENERI Communications (and Irene Cualoping, Managing Partner) has so enjoyed serving as Charity Media Partner and Agency of Record and facebook Coordinator/Webmaster for the Chinese American Civic Council, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization over 70 years old, for the past nine years! (2016 Appointment)

This was throughout the terms of past presidents May Young Chin, Helen “Tomatoes” Moy and acting president Edward Jung, and through the period of the most recent transition.

We have been advised Jean Ng is stepping back again into the President’s role! Our best wishes to the new leadership team.

(Please note that we (CACC) does not currently have/or have had 2025 access to check the [email protected] address or to update webmasters on this page . Therefore we will not be posting here in the future.)

We had requested where new e-mail inquiries may go, but have not yet heard back.

Please contact the new leadership for future inquiries. If you do not have JN’s personal e-mail address you may send to ENERI at info(at)enericom.net and we will forward, through the end of this year.

Please do not post here, as we are unable to update Webmasters in this transition.

Raymond B. Lee

Smart, visionary entrepreneur (Golden Country), generous community and Chicago civic leader, who was active with the Chinese American Civic Council of Chicago, the Chinese American Museum of Chicago-Raymond B. & Jean T. Lee Center, Chinatown Square, Ping Tom Memorial Park, Chicago Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese American Service League, among many others; Chicago Chinatown in general and numerous other community and civic organizations, for so many decades.

We thank you and Jean T. Lee and The Lee Family, for all you have done. We will miss you so greatly.

Beautiful ceremony at historic St. Therese Chinese Catholic Church in Chinatown today. RIP Edward Jung, who was baptized, married and whose Celebration of Life services were all held there. Hundreds of people turned out to pay their respects to this generous of spirit, time and resources, smart, funny and humble community and civic leader. We thank him so much for his service to the Chinese American Civic Council of Chicago. He will be greatly missed!
