There is a big issue when you are nickle and diming local schools and high schools BUT government doesn't want to put a cap on tuition costs on for profit universities.

Low income families deserve true transparent support and equity. Instead, the government limits the benefits and increases the chance to profit from low income students who will find it more challenging to pay the loan back.

DePaul and Loyola accused of pushing low-income families toward hefty loans while favoring wealthier students - WBEZ Chicago

The two Chicago universities are among 41 named in a national report highlighting schools that appear to push lower-income families to take out loans they can’t afford.

You can't request for tax payers to pay their "fare share", for others to have transparency with you and request for more funds when you are not responsible and don't do any of those.
