Neighbors, for anyone willing to be party in a lawsuit to unmask ICE agents:

Kulis & Associates, Ltd is working with Metropolitan Family Services to file lawsuits on behalf of individuals who were brutalized by ICE during Operation Midway Blitz, with the goal of obtaining the names of the ICE agents in litigation for future accountability purposes. Having the names of agents that terrorized our communities is critical in the pursuit of criminal justice.

Cases where the victims/potential Plaintiffs have objective evidence to identify the officers involved are needed. Evidence includes video footage portraying the officer or pictures of the vehicle's license plate.

Representation will be free of charge. Please contact Brian Orozco, Attorney with Kulis & Associates, for more information. He can be reached at (312) 580-1830. We are asking folks to consider this opportunity so that we can build the case for criminal prosecution of ICE agents in Cook County.

Thank you to Chicago Department of Streets & Sanitation for hosting our staff earlier this month at one of their food composting drop-off sites during International Compost Awareness Week!

Did you know that through the City of Chicago’s Food Scrap Drop-Off program, you can get your household food scraps composted for free? This thriving program has over 8,800 households participating and has diverted 1,554,000 pounds of food scraps from landfills to composting since its inception in 2023. Thanks to a partnership with the Chicago Public Libraries, the program has recently expanded to a total of 33 drop-off locations. Learn more and sign up today!

United Northwest Side is proud to endorse S Gronkiewicz-Doran for 45th Ward Alderperson. Our members know that beating MAGA Jim Gardiner requires a candidate with a proven record of fighting back against right-wing efforts to target our communities and weaken our rights. We know we can trust S to do this--not only because they are a founding member of our organization, but because they have organized alongside our movement allies for years to make our community stronger.

Learn more about the SGD for 45 campaign to bring new leadership to the 45th Ward at sgdfor45.com--and stay tuned for more ways to support in the days and weeks ahead!
