✨🚀 BLAST OFF INTO BOOKS! The Read-A-Thon Has Officially Launched! 🚀✨
Disney Magnet families, it’s time to launch into reading! Our Cosmic Read-A-Thon 2026 has officially begun and we are so excited to see our students explore new books, stories, and adventures.
📚 Who: All Disney students
💫 Goal: Each student aims to raise at least $50
📅 When: March 9th – April 10th
The funds raised will help our school purchase:
✨ New books
✨ Reading curriculum
✨ Instructional resources for our students

🎬🍿 What an Amazing Movie Night! 🍿🎬

A huge THANK YOU to all of the families who came out to support Disney Magnet PTA Movie Night! The laughter, smiles, and community spirit made the night truly special. 💛

It was wonderful seeing students, parents, and staff come together to enjoy a fun evening right here at our school. From cozy blankets on the floor to families sharing snacks and watching the movie together — the energy was incredible! ✨

Special thanks to everyone who:

⭐ Helped with setup and coordination
⭐ Supported the event
⭐ And most importantly… showed up for our school community

Thank you to all of the parents who came out to Connections CaFE with the PTA yesterday. It was super cold outside, but you still pressed your way to be present, engaged, and supportive of our school community and that truly means everything.

These moments of connection, conversation, and collaboration are what strengthen our village, and we are so grateful for the families who continue to show up for our students no matter the weather.

A special thank you to Mathnasium of Lincolnwood for coming out and sharing your program with our school and families. We appreciate you taking the time to pour into our community and provide valuable resources for our students’ academic success.

Community is built one connection at a time and yesterday was a beautiful reminder of that. 💙
