We love our community! Over 500 people joined us today to enjoy Spooky Fest. This year in collaboration with the library we expanded beyond the Play Garden and had circus performers from Circesteem in the parking and magic with Little Miss Marvel in the library reading garden.

A HUGE thank you to QTS Data Center of Chicago for their donation to make the event possible. They also set up a beautiful table with staff from QTS handing out bag after bag of candy.

Pumpkin filled thanks to Bridgewater Studio Inc. for their annual generous donation of over 150 pumpkins and trick or treat bags.

Another thank you to Mannys Bakery for their delicious donuts. Definitely visit them for yummy pastries and cakes.

Big thanks to Open Books for bringing the Booksmobile to visit and give out books!

Big thanks to State Farm-Angelica Garcilazo Agency, McKinley Park Development Council, McKinley Park Civic Association, St. Andrew Lutheran Church - 圣安得烈基督教路德宗教会 , Jimmy John’s of McKinley Park, 12th Ward Alderwoman Julia Ramirez, students from Benito Juarez, Soluna Wellness Center and all of the volunteers who helped make it all happen!

¡Amamos a nuestra comunidad! Más de 500 personas nos acompañaron hoy para disfrutar del Spooky Fest. Este año, en colaboración con la biblioteca, ampliamos el espacio más allá del Jardín y contamos con artistas de circo de Circesteem en el estacionamiento y magia con Little Miss Marvel en el jardín de lectura de la biblioteca.

Un enorme agradecimiento al Centro de Datos QTS de Chicago por su donación para hacer posible el evento. También instalaron una hermosa mesa con personal de QTS repartiendo bolsas de dulces.

Otro agradecimiento a Mannys Bakery por sus deliciosas donas. No dejen de visitarlos para disfrutar de sus deliciosos pasteles y pasteles.

Oktoberfest 2025 was epic! Warm, beautiful weather for a few hours and then 9:30pm brought heavy rainfall⛈️. But that did not stop us! Those who stuck around sang karaoke until midnight and they would have kept going if we let them 🎤🎶

Thank you all for your support! With your donations, we raised $2885.56! This is the largest amount we have ever raised at Oktoberfest. These funds go towards maintenance like fixing our leaky water pump and broken back gate. It also goes towards our free, family events like Spooky Fest this weekend. We will buy A LOT of candy with that money😉 as well as provide entertainment like circus performers, a magician, and face painting.

Just 4 more days until Oktoberfest! We are looking forward to seeing you all and spending time together as neighbors, near and far. We are all neighbors no matter where we live.
