WHAT: In the wake of local protests, S. Lee Merritt, attorney for and , will provide legal updates in a town hall hosted by Chicago Virtual Charter School. As part of this event, school administrators will announce legal recourse filed in Cook County circuit court against the Illinois State Board of Education’s decision to revoke the school’s charter amid COVID-19 and civil unrest.
