Behind every outage restored, line repaired and customer assisted is an employee who cares deeply about serving their community.

Ahead of Labor Day, we're sharing a touching story from our employee, Dan. As a Distribution Supervisor at PECO, he helps keep the energy system running safely and reliably. During one of his shifts, he was able to make a meaningful difference during a time of need by providing a generator for a customer receiving hospice care. Moments like this show what it means to be ON for our customers and communities.

We're proud of employees like Dan who put customers at the center of everything they do. Their commitment is what helps us deliver the reliable, affordable service our communities depend on every day.

Our President and CEO Calvin Butler recently sat down with The Baltimore Sun to discuss Maryland's energy challenges and the steps needed to help ensure reliable, affordable energy for customers.

Exelon CEO Calvin Butler is pushing Maryland regulators to allow utilities to return to generating their own power, arguing the state's energy crisis stems from shutting down generating plants while demand has surged.

"You're not going to solve this supply crisis or affordability crisis by doing the same thing," Butler said in an interview, as BGE seeks a $156 million electric rate increase and 300,000 customers have fallen behind on bills.

Transmission Security Agreements (TSAs) are one of many levers we’re pulling to advocate for the interests of our customers through The Exelon Promise. In this episode of Energy Gang hosted by Ed Crooks, Exelon EVP of Transmission and Development Carim Khouzami shares how TSAs protect our customers by ensuring large energy users, like data centers, commit to paying their fair share of the total costs of the transmission grid.

We’re proud to have reached $1 billion in TSA customer protections and will continue to identify solutions that help us provide the safe, reliable and affordable energy our customers rely on. Hear the full episode: http://spr.ly/6180B1IvFs
