On May 14, 2026, the PBC hosted its 3rd Annual Connection Session at Malcolm X College. Nearly 500 participants attended, including 150 students from the CPS Chicago Builds Program and scholars from KKC Dawson Technical Institute. Attendees, including representatives from MBE and WBE firms, made real-time connections with nearly 50 exhibitors from construction, architecture, and engineering firms, along with our Assist Agencies and government representatives.
Our inaugural event in May 2023 included nearly 100 participants. The intent of the event was to connect our partners, share our program investments, celebrate our clients, contractors, architects, and engineers, as well as highlight meaningful career pathways for students and scholars in the design and construction industries.
As the event has grown, our intention remains unchanged. Our resolve to enhance our partnerships and our student hiring initiative is strengthened. We remain committed to celebrating you and your work. Thank you for partnering with PBC as we Build Better Together.
