If you have applied for Adjustment of Status (green card), you may be impacted by a new policy memo that includes changes in how applications are reviewed. Many details are still unclear, and we are waiting for more guidance on how the policy will be implemented.

⚠️  Important: A memo is not a new law; it is guidance for officers.  
📬  If you receive any notices, request for evidence, or other mail about your case: 📞 Contact your attorney and/or DOJ representative immediately

The administration would like us to believe that immigration and CPB have stopped terrorizing our communities, but that is not the case. They are still arresting our neighbors and detaining our loved ones. We need to stay vigilant and look out for each other.

One way we can do that is by making sure our communities know their rights, and that there are resources available in IL to help you understand, enforce, and defend them, should you need to. That's why our Immigrant Justice team is hosting group canvassing days every other Thursday through August.

La administración quisiera hacernos creer que inmigración y la CBP han dejado de aterrorizar a nuestras comunidades, pero eso no es así. Siguen arrestando a nuestros vecinos y deteniendo a nuestros seres queridos. Necesitamos mantenernos alertas y cuidarnos los unos a los otros.
