We honor the life and service of Firefighter/EMT Michael Altman, who tragically passed away following injuries sustained in the line of duty. Michael represented the fourth generation of his family to serve the Chicago Fire Department. His father, Mark, was a longtime Battalion 3 Chief here at our house. We extend our deepest condolences to the Altman family. His bravery and commitment to the safety of others will be held in the highest regard. 🖤❤️

This fire was 300 feet from our Fire House last night. Balloon frame construction, fire on the 2nd floor which got in the knee walls in the attic Thankfully all our members are alright . Strong work by all the crews ❤️‍🔥🪿

A hometown Hero ! Meet our girl Lisa ! Lisa is a medic on our Ambo (53) , a union steward and one of the most dedicated , hardworking medics on the department.
