🎒Is your child turning 5 in 2027? If they turn 5 on or before September 1, 2027, it’s time to start planning for Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Kindergarten for the 2027–2028 school year!

Here is everything parents need to know:
🏠Guaranteed Neighborhood Spot: Every Chicago child is guaranteed a seat at their designated neighborhood school (no application required).
📝The GoCPS Application: If you want to explore Choice Schools, Magnet Programs, or Selective Enrollment/Gifted Schools, you must apply through GoCPS.
⏰Application Deadline: The GoCPS application closes November 13 at 5 PM.
