Today in Washington, DC, PCA America joined the Thrive From the Start Convening on addressing Infant and Toddler Homelessness, alongside national partners working across housing, early childhood, child welfare, and homelessness systems.
Represented by our Policy, Communications, and Research teams, we engaged in cross-sector conversations focused on narrative change, shared insights and tools, and coordinated strategies to advance upstream solutions that strengthen family well-being, particularly economic stability, housing security, and mobility supports that help prevent homelessness before it begins.
Our participation reflects the role of policy, communications, and research in advancing not just shared understanding, but coordinated action grounded in data, informed by evidence, and activated through narrative change to move ideas into practice.
Earlier today, we also met with congressional offices on Capitol Hill to highlight the importance of sustained, cross-sector investments in these upstream solutions that support expectant parents, infants, toddlers, and their families from the start.
Together, these conversations reinforce that meaningful progress happens when policy, communications, and practice are aligned—and when we move from shared understanding to coordinated action. We look forward to continuing this work alongside our TFTS partners to amplify evidence-based strategies, strengthen collaboration across sectors, and elevate policies and narratives that advance economic stability and housing security for families from the start.
