Due to the unfortunate passing of Clerk Karen Yarbrough, The Cook County Democratic Party will convene on Friday, April 26 for 1) the temporary appointment through December 2024 and 2) the slating of Democratic nominee for the Cook County Clerk position to the November ballot to serve out the final two years of Clerk Yarbrough's unexpired term.

Highlighting a few races, we heard from both Cook County State's Attorney's Office candidates Clayton Harris for Cook County State's Attorney and Eileen O'Neill Burke who both did an excellent job
