Chicago's urban squash and education program MetroSquash is a member of the National Urban Squash and Education Association.

MetroSquash combines academic tutoring and squash instruction for students in the 5th grade through their post-secondary pursuits on the south side of Chicago.

Last weekend, we hosted Squash and Education Alliance's 2026 Chicago Open at MetroSquash, welcoming over 70 student-athletes for an incredible few days of squash competition, community, and fun. These are just some of our favorite moments.
And we’re keeping that momentum going! This weekend marks our 10th Annual MetroSquash Cup! 🏆
Experiences like these are only possible because of the generosity of our community. It's MetroSquash Cup week, and we want you to meet Julian, one of the students you’re supporting.
Julian is always pushing himself, on and off the squash court. He shows up consistently, puts in the work, and leads by example with a focus and determination that’s unmatched. 💪🏽
After skipping 6th grade, he’s now reading at a high school junior level, a huge testament to how committed he is to learning and growing. At Math Circles' Math Festival this past fall, he bested his peers (and even one of our staff members) in math challenges. Julian takes every opportunity and runs with it. 💙🧡

We're less than 1.5 weeks away from our MetroSquash Cup, and we want you to meet one of our incredible alumni: Ivan P. 🧡💙
Ivan is redefining what’s possible! From always helping his peers and lighting up our space to earning his Bachelor’s and Master’s from USC, and now being accepted into a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program, his journey is nothing short of extraordinary and impactful.
A trailblazer and the first MetroSquash alumnus accepted to medical school, Ivan continues to pay it forward to his peers, family, and community every step of the way.

Last month, one of our students, Jacoby, was recognized by US Squash as a William T. Ketcham Most Improved Award Honorable Mention recipient in the Boys U13 division.
Really proud moment for us. Jacoby has put in a ton of work to get here. And it’s also a reminder of what’s possible when students have access to dedicated coaches, consistent competition, and a supportive community that’s behind them.
In a sport where many have access to private lessons, travel circuits, and elite training environments, our students are showing what’s possible when talent meets opportunity. What we’re trying to do at MetroSquash is close that gap, and give our students a real shot to compete and succeed.
That’s what our MetroSquash Cup helps make possible!
