Care2Prevent

Supporting HIV care and prevention services for children, adolescents, and young adults on the South Side of Chicago.

Care2Prevent (C2P) is a program created by the University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital whose mission is to eliminate/prevent new infections of HIV/STI among young people living in Chicago by providing comprehensive medical care to people living with HIV/STIs and education to the South Side community. C2P’s team provides comprehensive medical care, social support, group level inter

ventions, and patient education to young people living with HIV/STI. In addition to many targeting prevention outreach programs, C2P conducts research on pediatric to adult care transition.
