Mental health support is available for Chicago residents through the Chicago Department of Public Health's CARE Program.
The CARE Program helps individuals experiencing mental health crises by connecting them with trained behavioral health professionals who can provide on-site assessments, de-escalation services, counseling, and connections to additional resources. The program is designed to offer compassionate, community-based support and help individuals access the care they need.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, call 911 and ask for the CARE Team. Additional resources are available through the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline and other community support services.
