On August 28, Safer Foundation was honored to witness history as the Danny K. Davis Community Center was officially named on the West Campus of Malcolm X College.

We are incredibly proud of Congressman Danny K. Davis and his lifelong commitment to second chances, opportunity, education, and community.

His work reminds us that when people are given an opportunity to rewrite their story, entire communities can be transformed.

Rain or shine, Safer Foundation shows up for our community!

Despite the rain, we had an amazing time at the Danny K. Davis Back to School Festival, connecting with families and sharing resources to help build stronger futures. Our team distributed more than 100 book bags to students while educating community members about Safer Foundation’s programs, services, and support.

A little rain couldn’t stop us from making an impact. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and connected with us!

At Safer Foundation, we believe No One Rebuilds Alone, and this weekend was a beautiful reminder of what that looks like in action. We had a great time connecting with families, giving away bookbags, and sharing resources while celebrating alongside the community.
