30 Ward Weekly Recap:

We attended the Old Irving Park Association (OIPA) Back to School Bash at Disney 2.

We participated in the Youth Jam at Riis Park and handed out school supplies and candy to participants. Thank you for organizing!

We joined Belmont Assembly of God - Chicago for a community clean up around Belmont Cragin. Thank you to Pastor Joey and all of the folks who pitched in to help!

We helped hand out hot meals with Islamic Relief Worldwide for anyone in need.

It was an honor to be included in all of these events!

🫛 We are partnering with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to help people sign up or renew their SNAP benefits on Monday August 31st from 10am-Noon at Fresh Market Plus at 2600 N Central.

🗣 Jahmal Cole from will be at JT's Genuine Sandwhich Stop on Monday evening at 6pm to hear from residents about what makes the Irving Park community special.

🍞 We are partnering with the Foundation of America to hang out free meals on Sunday August 30th, 11:30am, at 6041 W Diversey. While supplies last!

📚Homework Help is back at the Independence Branch of the Chicago Public Library, starting in September. Tuesdays and Thursdays from3-6pm.

✅ Our September and October Ward Night schedules are now available - stop in any of the Monday nights listed to meet with Ald. Cruz, no appointment needed.

They are located at located at 4058 W. Belmont Ave, at the corner of Belmont and Karlov. They are open everyday from 8am-3pm, closed Tuesdays.
