🚒🎉 Thank you to everyone who stopped by and visited with us at Freedom Fest at King Park on Saturday! We enjoyed meeting members of our community, answering questions, and giving everyone a chance to check out one of our fire trucks up close.

A special thank you to the Chicago Heights Park District for organizing another fantastic event and bringing the community together for a fun-filled day.

Happy Father’s Day from the Chicago Heights Fire Department!

Today, we celebrate all fathers and father figures who lead with strength, dedication, and love. Thank you for the sacrifices you make every day to support, protect, and inspire your families.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the dads serving on duty today. While many families are spending the day together, these firefighters and paramedics are answering calls, protecting our community, and standing ready to help those in need. Your commitment and sacrifice do not go unnoticed.

To all the dads in our department and throughout our community, we wish you a safe and Happy Father’s Day! 🚒👨‍👧‍👦🇺🇸

Our firefighters will be on hand to meet the community, answer questions, and showcase some of the equipment we use to serve and protect the residents of Chicago Heights.

Today, the Chicago Heights Fire Department proudly joins communities across the nation in celebrating Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the strength, resilience, and contributions of African Americans throughout our nation’s history.

As we reflect on the significance of this day, we recognize the importance of freedom, equality, and unity within our community. We remain committed to serving all residents with professionalism, respect, and compassion.

The Chicago Heights Fire Department would like to congratulate Christopher DeMinck, Anthony Cellini, and Sean Mascolino on successfully completing the Prairie State College Basic Operations Firefighter Academy. 🚒🎓

Christopher DeMinck is a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic with the department and continues to represent Chicago Heights with professionalism and dedication. 👨‍🚒

Anthony Cellini and Sean Mascolino also made history as the first graduates of the Chicago Heights Fire Apprentice Program. Their hard work, commitment, and determination have set the standard for future apprentices. 💪🔥

Sean also proudly continues a family legacy within the department. His father, Tori Mascolino, and uncle, Tony Mascolino, both retired from the department after serving the citizens of Chicago Heights with honor and distinction. 👏🚑

Congratulations to all three on this outstanding accomplishment. We are proud to have you as part of the Chicago Heights Fire Department family and look forward to your continued success and service to our community. 🇺🇸🚒
