WE’VE BEEN BUSY… AND WE’VE BEEN INSPIRED - One of the special moments from our Back-to-School Festival was starting the morning with some inspiring words from C.B. Kuzlik, Jones Center Board Member and founder of Let’s Roof and Let’s Pave.
C.B. took time to speak with our kids and families, sharing encouragement and helping us kick off a wonderful day of celebration, fun, and community. We are so grateful for the heart he brings to Jones Center and for the continued support of the entire Let’s Roof and Let’s Pave team.
As Impact Sponsors of our programs, Let’s Roof and Let’s Pave continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. Their partnership goes far beyond sponsorship, they show up, get involved, and believe in our mission.
We also want to congratulate C.B. and his team on their exciting move to their new offices in Lombard! We recently had the opportunity to visit C.B. at the new location, and we couldn’t be happier for them as they begin this next chapter.

We’ve Been Busy at Jones Center! It may have been a little quiet on our page lately, but things have definitely not been quiet at Jones Center!
We’ve been wrapping up an amazing summer, getting ready for the new school year, preparing for our After-School Program, training staff, connecting with our community, and making sure everything is ready to welcome our kids back.
We’re going to catch you up on some of the fun, hard work, and special moments happening behind the scenes and throughout our programs.
There is always something happening at Jones Center as we continue Providing a Doorway to Opportunity for the children and families we serve.

Back-to-School Event Highlights - What an incredible day at Jones Center!
Our parking lot was filled with children, families, volunteers, community partners, music, games, performances, food, laughter, and so many special memories.
With more than 100 children in our Summer Fun Club Day Camp and their families joining us, our Back-to-School Event was truly a celebration of community.
There was so much happening throughout the day that we will be sharing several posts highlighting the wonderful people, activities, and organizations that helped make this event possible.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped us end the summer on such a joyful note! A special thank you to C.B. Kuzlik, Let’s Pave and Let's Roof for making this day possible.

A huge thank you to Jones Center Board Member Xochitl Onohan for organizing an amazing Summer Shape Up Event for our kids! ☀️
The children had the opportunity to experience a fun and meaningful day of movement, mindfulness, and wellness, including Group Core with , Sound Bath with , Yoga with , and Pilates with .
Thank you to the instructors who volunteered their time, shared their talents, and helped make this such an incredible day for the children in the Jones Center Summer Fun Club Day Camp.

A special thank you to New Harvest Pentecostal Assembly for hosting Vacation Bible School at the Jones Center!
One of the children’s favorite activities was spending quiet time in the atrium, where they had the opportunity to meditate, pray, listen to music, and write their own prayers.
It was a beautiful and peaceful experience that gave our kids time to reflect, express themselves, and connect in a meaningful way.

One of the highlights of summer for our Jones Center Summer Fun Club Day Camp kids is Friday field trips!
We are so thankful to DLM Transportation for generously donating a bus to provide transportation for our field trip to the Chicago Heights Park District.
Because of your kindness, our kids were able to enjoy a fun summer adventure with their friends and make special memories together.
