57 years ago this week, Respond Now began with a community coming together to help its neighbors.
In its first seven days of operation, 14 volunteers representing six suburbs gave 78 hours of service. From the very beginning, Respond Now was built on community involvement and a commitment to understanding the needs of our neighbors.
57 years later, we’re still responding.
As we celebrate this milestone, we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has already given in honor of Respond Now’s 57th anniversary. Because of your generosity, we’ve raised more than $1,000 and reached 31% of our $3,249 goal. 🧡💚
