This meeting was regarded as the first step in the formation of the Stock Association of Laramie County, Which later became the Wyoming Stock Growers Association. Van Tassell, Charles Coffee and another whose name no one seems to know. On February 13,

We are pleased to announce that Stoltz Cattle Company, LLC has been selected as the 2026 Environmental Stewardship Award recipient!

Located in Arvada, Stoltz Cattle company is a sixth-generation ranch owned and operated by Thad and Heidi Stoltz. Since they took over management of the ranch in 2009, Thad and Heidi have embodied the principle of environmental stewardship, taking great measures to make sure the ranch continues to be a profitable family legacy for generations to come. Using management practices such as water development, cross fencing, adaptive grazing, and soil health development has allowed the Stoltz family to achieve their goal of leaving the land better than when they took it over.

Join us in congratulating the Stoltz family on this well-deserved award!
