🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 🚨

St. Joseph’s Food Pantry is looking for more helping hands to serve families in our community! ❤️

Every week, our pantry works hard to keep enough volunteers on every shift to continue feeding local families in need. While we are blessed with an amazing volunteer team, call-outs, vacations, illness, and emergencies can leave us short-staffed — especially on Thursdays.

We are currently looking for:

🥫 Pantry Volunteers
We are looking for dependable volunteers who can commit to serving once a week on a consistent basis. Having reliable volunteers helps us ensure families are served smoothly each day.

🕘 Monday - Thursday Times:
• First Shift: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Second Shift: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

🚚 Delivery Drivers
Drivers pick up food donations from our community partners including Sam’s Club, Safeway, Walmart, Panera Bread, Chick-fil-A, Natural Grocers, Red Lobster, and more, then deliver those donations back to the pantry.

📅 Driver Needs:
• Permanent Sunday Driver
• Permanent Thursday Driver
• Floater Driver for vacation/sick coverage

We especially need volunteers and drivers who can commit to helping every week on their scheduled day. Consistency is incredibly important to keeping the pantry running for the hundreds of families we serve.

No special experience is needed, just a willing heart and a desire to help others. ❤️

We received tons of pantry goods from the Post Office’s Stamp Out Hunger food drive, and we could use a few extra hands getting everything sorted and organized!

We’re looking for volunteers to join us this Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a sorting party at St. Joseph’s Food Pantry.

If you’re willing to help, please send us a message. We’d greatly appreciate the support as we work to get all of this food ready for our community!

Have you ever asked yourself this question when you get home from the pantry and you receive a little of this, a little of that? We ensure you have certain items each week, but we know sometimes it's not enough to last; or the produce we are able to rescue and re-distribute might be a little random.
Check out supercook.com! This is a free website and app that allows you to find recipes based on the ingredients you have available. We thought it was a great resource and wanted to share! 😀

Since 1991, the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive has helped fight hunger one mailbox at a time. What began as a way to help ensure children had access to food during the summer months has grown into the nation's largest single-day food drive.
On May 9th, simply leave nonperishables by your mailbox to help make a difference right here in Laramie County. 🥫💙
