📣Water Main Leak - Dell Range Blvd.📣

Water main leak near the intersection of Dell Range & Mountain Rd. interrupting water services to homes & businesses in the area.

🚧Traffic delays anticipated🚧 please find alternative routes if possible. UPDATE: Mountain Rd. closed between Sheridan & Dell Range, as well as, lane closure on Dell Range between Windmill & Mountain Rd. ~ 5 days.

Crews will remain on-site until repairs are complete & water restored. We apologize for any inconvenience!!

August 1st, 5:15 AM- There is a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) of severe weather today across much of western Nebraska and southeast Wyoming. Large hail, damaging winds, flash flooding, and an isolated tornado or two (mainly in the Panhandle) are all possible this afternoon. Strongest storms expected between 3 and 8 PM. Stay weather aware today!

The skills learned during the entire training are invaluable resources for everyone when it comes to not only disasters but in our normal activities. During the 3 days of trainings, we will cover the lecture, all of the activities in each unit, finish with an exercise and a final exam to receive a certificate AND your very own CERT Go Bag!

The "Disaster Preparedness and Survival" course is designed to teach and encourage community members impacted by a disaster to prepare, take preservation actions and perform, as appropriate, light search and rescue response to aid their family and other community members in the immediate aftermath of a natural disaster or human-made incident. This course is not intended for the professional responder however would be beneficial for the responder's family. The training does not qualify the participants to serve in an emergency responder role.

The targe audience encompasses the whole community, including, but not restricted to:

Religious Organizations
Community Emergency Response Teams
Youth Organizations
American Red Cross and other Non-Governmental Organizations
Families & Individuals
Other Interested Members of the Community

Anthrax has been confirmed in multiple beef herds in Carbon County.
