The Wyoming Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) application approval has been paused due to the shutdown. Wyoming LIEAP has been impacted by the federal shutdown, specifically regarding application processing and payment disbursements. What does this mean?

🔹APPROVED BENEFITS: If your application has been approved, your payments will continue to be processed and sent to utility vendors.

🔹NEW APPLICATIONS: We strongly urge you to continue submitting your LIEAP application during this time and to comply with any requests for information. We will resume approving applications once Congress passes a budget, the federal government reopens, and our office receives the official LIEAP grant money.

If you need help with your utility bill, please contact your utility provider to discuss payment options, as LIEAP cannot process new assistance at this time.

We are committed to resuming normal operations as soon as the shutdown ends. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this challenging time.
