📢 Open House: East Allison Road Corridor Study 📢

East Allison serves as a neighborhood street connecting homes and schools while also carrying significant traffic as a key access point in and out of the neighborhood. Recent Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) studies and the Arp Elementary reconstruction highlight the need to improve East Allison Road to support neighborhood growth, maintain mobility, and enhance safety.

Every year, crashes on Cheyenne’s roads result in lives lost and serious injuries, many of which are preventable. The Safety Action Plan, part of the national Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program, addresses key risks such as speeding, poor visibility, and unsafe crossings. With input from the community, this locally led plan aims to make Cheyenne’s streets safer and more accessible for everyone, whether walking, biking, driving, using mobility aids, or riding transit.

• Near-misses you’ve experienced or observed, even if no crash occurred
• Intersections or streets you tend to avoid
• Areas that could benefit from better lighting, crosswalks, or sidewalks
