Today, June 8th, is World Ocean Day! 🌊🐙

According to the National Ocean Service, the ocean covers 70% of the Earth's surface and contains up to 97% of the planet's water! 💧

With stats like that, it's no surprise that the ocean is home to so many incredible creatures. Whether you're looking for a picture book about a favorite oceanic animal or you're ready to dive deep into a nonfiction text full of fun facts, the ERC is home to *almost* as many books as there are fish in the sea.
