These pages and channels intend to serve as a mechanism for communication between the public and Departments of Kent County Government. All comments submitted to these pages are public record and therefore subject to Maryland Public Information Act requests. All comments
, opinions, advice, statements, or other information communicated or contained in any messages posted or transmitted by a third party are the sole responsibility of the author of that message and do not necessarily represent the opinion of Kent County Government. Kent County Government disclaims all responsibility and will not be held responsible for the comments, opinions, advice, statements, views, or position of individuals, connected or otherwise, posted to any social media channel of any Department affiliated with Kent County Government. Kent County Government reserves the right to monitor and hide or remove any content at any time for any reason at its sole, subjective discretion. Comments, opinions, advice, statements, discussion posts, wall posts, and any other user-generated content that is deemed inappropriate by Kent County Government will be removed from the page. Kent County Government expressly prohibits and may remove comments if they are:
• Comments that include profanity
• Comments with sexual content or links to sexual content
• Discriminatory comments based on race, color, religion, marital status, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, or national orientation.
• Solicitations
• Comments that promote illegal activity
• Comments that threaten the safety of others or the public system
• Comments that are not related to the posting. The County reserves the right to remove any content it feels violates this policy or any other law.
