Many of you might recognize campaign volunteer Rahul Gopalan. Rahul volunteers regularly to canvas the Wildwood area of District 110. He graduated from Lafayette High School and went on to earn his bachelors degree in Computer Science at Missouri S&T. Rahul joined our campaign after we knocked on his door last fall and talked about the issues. It is fantastic to have young people interested and involved in the political process. Thanks Rahul!

The Missouri constitution says that any tax increase must be voted on by Missouri citizens. This amendment would eliminate that and give the power to raise taxes to the state. Eliminating the income tax would also place more of the burden for state funding on low and middle income earners.
