SCHEDULED LANE CLOSURES: Pavement Repair Work on Eastbound I-70 in Warren Co.
Weather permitting, the left lane of eastbound I-70 is scheduled to close for proactive pavement repairs in the following locations:
· COMPLETE - MM 191.4 to 193.4 (Rte. MM/Warrenton Blvd. to MO 47 in Warrenton) - beginning at 7 p.m. on Thurs, May 28 through 9 a.m. on Sat, May 30
· UPDATE - MM 197.6 to 199.8 (Wright City Rest Area to just west of Route F/J/Elm Street) - beginning on 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2 through 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 4
Delays on I-70 are expected during these temporary closures. To alleviate congestion, motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Crews with the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project will close two eastbound and westbound Interstate 64 lanes between Route 364 and Route K for pavement repairs starting Monday, June 1. All work is weather permitting.
Two eastbound lanes will close nightly from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. starting Monday, June 1. This closure is expected to last two weeks. One eastbound lane will be closed around the clock. This section of I-64 normally has three eastbound lanes.
Starting Monday, June 8, two westbound lanes will close nightly from 8:30 p.m. to 9 a.m. between Route K and Route 364.
This work is part of the widening of Interstate 64, adding a third lane in each direction between Route 364 and the I-64/I-70 interchange.

We're holding our next open house style public meeting to talk about Route 30 (Gravois) in the city of St. Louis; This time we plan to discuss initial thoughts for lane reductions and simplified intersections as part of the 2029 resurfacing project. Feedback at this time from residents, businesses, and people who travel along Gravois will help shape the project and drive many of the decisions made in developing the plans for the corridor. UPDATE (5-26-26 @ 5:30 pm):
Closure Will Remain in Place for Scheduled Work

Work in the left lane of eastbound I-70 has been completed, near the Wright City Rest Area (mile marker 198) in Warren County, after being closed for a pavement failure.

Due to previously scheduled work, this lane closure will remain in place to facilitate that operation. Scheduled work is anticipated to be complete and I-70 reopened to two lanes of traffic by 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

FYI for motorists traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 headed back into the St. Louis region.

The left lane of eastbound I-70 is closed, near the Wright City Rest Area (mile marker 198) in Warren County, due to a pavement failure. Repairs are anticipated to be completed and open to traffic during the morning hours of Friday, May 22, 2026.

Delays on I-70 are expected during this temporary closures. To alleviate congestion, motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

Crews have been out today working on restriping and readying the stretch of I-55 between Lindbergh and I-44 to reopen later this evening. All lanes in that area, as well as the ramp from Germania to northbound I-55, will be reopened within the next couple of hours.
